Wall-to-Wall Wilton Woven Carpet Made of PP for Public Spaces
Product Description
Wilton carpet is a type of machine-made carpet, named after the production process that originated in Wilton, England.
Wilton carpet typically involves the interweaving of three types of yarn: warp, weft, and pile yarn, followed by finishing processes such as gluing and plain fiber treatment.
Wilton carpets are categorized into two types:
(1) Single-sided Wilton carpet: Known for its excellent appearance retention and stable shape, this type is particularly suitable for use in aircraft requiring extremely high flame retardant performance. Additionally, it is ideal for high-end yachts, passenger ships, and luxury hotels. Some variations are also used in car mats.
(2) Double-layer Wilton carpet: This type originated in Belgium and is characterized by a full fabric and tight structure, with a heavy square meter of pile yarn. The loom used is a double-layer fabric, allowing for relatively fast production efficiency.

Installation
Wilton carpets feature a double-layer woven structure. When installing, ensure that the carpets are at the same level and that the pile direction is consistent to avoid confusion. Reputable manufacturers will typically use single and double numbers to differentiate between carpets at the time of production. Please pay attention to the carpet numbers when laying the upper and lower layers. For more options, check out our Luxury Hotel Carpet collection.
