Installation

Machine tufted carpets are typically installed in rolls. They should be transported to the installation area 24 hours prior to installation. Upon arrival, they should be opened, flattened, and crimp stress should be eliminated, allowing the carpet ample time to adjust to the temperature and humidity of the environment. The optimal temperature for installation is between 18-35 degrees Celsius to ensure a smoother laying process.

Choosing the right underlay: The underlay is placed beneath the carpet to enhance softness, comfort, and moisture resistance. There are various types of underlay available on the market. Be sure to select the appropriate underlay based on the intended use area. In high-traffic areas, such as corridors, the underlay should not be too thick, generally around 1.0 cm.

Accurately measure the room size, and document the measurements according to the room and the carpet model being used. Then, utilize a trimming machine to cut the carpet material to fit the size and shape of the room. Typically, each piece of carpet should be about 2 cm longer than the room length, and the width should be calculated based on the carpet edge size. The edge portion is cut using elastic thread, and then trimmed from the back of the carpet with a hand-held knife. Once cut, roll the carpet for numbering and place it in the corresponding room.
