Assembling Methods

Carpet splicing is a crucial process in roll carpet installation. Generally, it is essential to keep the carpet splicing in the same direction as much as possible, at least within the same room, to avoid visual color differences due to varying carpet pile directions. It is advisable to avoid locations with heavy foot traffic or direct lines of sight; for patterned carpets, strive to match the patterns during splicing. Due to the machine-made nature of the carpet and the inherent variability in fabric structure, achieving perfect alignment between rolls is not always possible. If deviations occur, the carpet can be manually adjusted, especially in large areas such as hotel lobbies or banquet halls. Begin laying the carpet from the center of the room outward, following the carpet pattern and order, first placing the carpet on the cushion to assess the design before cutting, splicing, and securing the seams. When ironing the seams, start from the center of the room towards both ends to minimize embossing errors.
